Terms of service
The fees you pay are for the data preparation service and the right to use the Windows client provided to deliver it. This is not a sale of market data, and it transfers no rights that any exchange, data vendor or other third party holds in the original material.

1. What the service is
For the markets, symbols and date ranges you choose, Tick Data prepares the material into files you can store, view and export on your own computer, and provides the software to do so. The prepared data is for your own use.
2. What you get, and what you don't
- You get the prepared files and the right to use the client on one computer.
- You have not bought the original market data, and you gain no ownership, exclusive rights or right to sublicense the upstream material.
- You may not sell the prepared data, redistribute it publicly, or provide it to others for business use.
3. License
One activation code is for one computer only. Your plan sets which symbols the preparation service covers. To change computers, write to us in the client or on the website. We may disable a license in cases of abuse, fraud or breach of these terms.
4. Not investment advice
The prepared data is only a reference for research and technical analysis. We give no buy or sell advice and are not responsible for any trading results.
5. Completeness
The preparation service depends on the network and on whether the material is available at the time. We do not guarantee that every date range is complete and continuous, or that it matches any venue's official records trade by trade.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not crack the client, get around the licensing, interfere with the service, or use the prepared data for unlawful purposes.
7. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by using or being unable to use the service. You should check the files yourself and comply with the rules where you are.
You must agree to these terms when you install the client. Continuing to use it after agreeing means you accept them.
